How valuable is New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw compared to the $1,001,000 salary he earned in 2010?
Well, if you were to ask Vizio, he was extremely valuable.
Four years removed from watching more than six and a half rounds and 17 other running backs drafted ahead of him, the Marshall alumni is finally getting his due. Following a season in which he rushed for 1,235 yards (4.5 yards per carry and 8 touchdowns) and hauled in 47 receptions for 314 yards, Bradshaw has been nominated for Vizio's “Top Value Performer” award.
This award recognizes players whose contributions on the field far exceed the salaries they've earned.
In addition to Bradshaw, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Lamarr Woodley, Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Steve Johnson and Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Lloyd have also been nominated.
