According to Gary Myers of the New York Daily News, the ruling from Judge on the pending motion to lift the lockout will likely come on Monday. Monday happens to be three days before the NFL Draft.

“The players are the heavy favorites to win this round,” Gary Myers said about the possible lifting of the lockout on Monday.

Gregg Rosenthal of Profootballtalk.com had this to say about the possible lifting of the lockout:

“A ruling in favor of the players wouldn’t simply re-open the NFL for business again.  A stay on the ruling is expected pending appeal, which will take another indefinite amount of time to settle.”

More news on the lockout is expected this weekend. In the meantime you can read what former NFL wide receiver Amani Toomer had to say about NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. Let me just tell you, it wasn’t nice.
