Falcons Face Off Against the Giants

by JArthurSmith on November 22, 2009

It’s early in the second quarter, and the Falcons are holding onto a 7-3 lead, and have just forced a 4th and long.  Michael Turner is out, as is Jerious Norwood, leaving Jason Snelling and Aaron Stecker in the backfield for the Birds (Giants just missed a FG).  Snelling has answered the call, scoring the first TD of the game on a 9-yard run where Tony Gonzalez pulled off the defense leaving a huge hole to run through.

Matty-Ice still isn’t looking perfect, but he’s doing a great job of managing the offense, and has already drawn the Giants defense offsides twice.  We’ll see how he does over the course of the whole game (Michael Boley just sacked him).

I wanted to get last week’s milestones chart up.  Added:  1 loss in-a-row, 224 yards passing, 176 yards rushing, 1 passing TD, 1 rushing TD, -2 from turnover differential
