In Game Post: Meeks, Delfino find the range

Bucks off to good start

Well, well, a Jodie Meeks sighting.  He's hitting shots!  Is there a full moon?
...
In all seriousness, I think Meeks just needed to find a comfort level.  I think he's starting to find it.  Here in the second quarter he's 4 for 4 from behind the 3 point arc.  We may have found a contributor.
...
What I didn't realize when I criticized him in an earlier post for doing nothing is that he's Scott Skiles 2009-10 whipping boy (last season it was Alexander).  That's not easy, and maybe Meeks initial play in the preseason reflected it. Indeed, he had one hell of a rough start to last night's game.  He couldn't catch anything, turning over at least three possessions in the first half by fumbling passes that were right on the mark.  He looked incredibly nervous.  But Skiles didn't yank him right away, which probably allowed him to settle down.
...
Even though Meeks didn't shoot it well last night, he was doing other good things, namely rebounding.  I was happy to see that.  Skiles, I'm sure, will continue to ride him.  At one point last night the camera caught Skiles yelling, "Come on Jo-die! Stay in front of him!!" (he accented both syllables when saying Jodie).
...
Delfino was missing open shots also, but his release looked fine.  He just needed a little confidence.  Looks like he's getting that at The Brad tonight.
...
Great start for Milwaukee tonight, but they can't let up.
