Prongers Leads Flyers Past Sabres

by alex-whiteleather on November 7, 2009

The big offseason acquisition Chris Pronger provided the punch the team was looking for in having a two point night with a goal and an assist for a +3 night.  Danny Carcillo started and ended the evening with goals, Darroll Powe, and James van Riemsdyk added goals for the Broad Street Bullies. The one down side to the evening was the Flyers special teams allowing both of the Sabres goals via the power play.

Ryan Miller left in a few soft goals and the Flyers took advantage of a team allowing just two goals a game to hit them up for more than double that total.  Ray Emery played outstanding and let his team cruise to an easy victory.

The win pushes the Flyers to 8-4-1 riding a three game win streak into tomorrow nights home contest against the Blues.  Gametime at 7pm down at the Wachovia Center.
