Ginos Jungle, North Station Sports, and Celtics 17 Live Chat
Two First-Place Freight Trains Clash in Another Friday Night Smackdown
Once again, we'll be collaborating with North Station Sports and Gino's Jungle to do a live blog for tonight's game.
Short and Sweet:
The Celtics (6-0) face the (4-1) Suns, an offensive firepower that thrives when bringing back the game they played during the time when Steve Nash was an All-Star and Shawn Marion was a discernible member of the Suns. Steve Nash has emerged once again, however, to average 19.6 ppg and 10.8 apg, numbers that we were used to back when Nash was starring for the Mavericks and leading the Suns to hard-nosed battles against the Spurs.
With the way the two (SA and Phoenix) are playing, it's a possibility once again.
The Celtics look to trump Phoenix with a defensive attack based on Rondo's smart defense (don't get lazy and rely on your hands young fella. Nash isn't one to let the ball get stolen from behind when he's going towards the basket) and the front court's virile force against Amar'e Stoudemire and Phoenix's garbage men.
Look for Ray Allen and Paul Pierce to stealthily keep the offense afloat as we slip by the Suns in a relatively close game (blowout is certainly possible as well, as the Suns haven't faced many potent teams yet) with a defensive-minded onslaught.
