Heat VS Hawks

After a success Monday evening, the Miami Heat added another for their fourth consecutive win, a season best. With that, Coach Spo gave them a day off, followed with two days of intense practice. All in preparation for what will be an anticipating game tomorrow night at the American Airlines Arena. The Heat will have the Atlanta Hawks invading territory. Atlanta fans are hyped about tomorrow's game but a bit nervous too. They know that after opening the season with a scary six game winning streak, the Hawks are without a doubt one of the league's most improved teams this season. But will "Most Improved" be enough to take on the Heat's four consecutive wins? With an absence from leading shot-blocker, Josh Smith, Atlanta as managed to start a disappointing streak of a consecutive three road losses. Will Mike Bibby, Joe Johnson and Al Horford be able to take on Heat's power shooters, Dwayne Wade and Mario Chalmers? The Hawks, coached by Mike Woodson, and Miami are both currently averaging 12-9. Something else that might cause Hawks fans to stir up emotions on Friday... Has anyone noticed that a new assistant coach for the Heat was last year's assistant coach for the Hawks? Yes, his name is David Fizdale. He spent his previous two years coaching for the ATL franchise. The word is, once Erik Spoelstra became Head coach for the Heat, he felt he needed to bring in the familiar face to help out. Fizdale worked with Spoelstra as assistant Video Coordinator during the 97-98 season. Let's just hope the game is a clean and fun one, for it's a necessary win wanted and needed by both teams.
