Heat Struggle To Keep Rhythm
The Miami Heat are now 2-3 over their last 5 games and continue to struggle to find their collective identity.
Over the past 10 days, despite near 40 point back to back nights by Dwyane Wade and heroic efforts from others, the Miami Heat have failed to compete consistently.
Over that time span they've fallen to the Chris Bosh led Raptors twice, as well as the Rockets, while defeating the Pacers and the Arena-less Wizards.
The team has seen great strides from it's youngsters, and although Beasley has been plagued with foul troubles, his offense continues to bloom.
What's Really Goin' On?
I think the biggest issue with the Miami Heat is their need for size.
Teams with a dominant paint presence have absolutely destroyed Miami. We love you Haslem, but uh, not at the center position!
Word around the Heat camp is that McGloire is ahead of schedule in his rehab and could be with the team in the near future, but it'll still take time for him to regain conditioning and develop chemistry with his teammates so don't look at him to be the 'answer'.
Road Worriers?
With a lack of continuity and a 5 game west coast roadtrip ahead - landing them everywhere from Portland to Los Angeles, to Phoenix and beyond - there won't be much time to learn on the job.
Hopefully the 'Heaters' are prepared for what could be a pivotal point in the season.
(The Heat will face off against the Portland Trailblazers Wednesday night at 10pm est).
