Another Win for Helen Alfredsson

It's been a good golf year for 40 somethings. I'm thinking about Kenny Perry for the men and Helen Alfredsson for the women.

The 43-year-old Alfredsson came from behind on Sunday to claim the Grand China Air LPGA, her second title of the season. She won the Evian Masters in July. The Swede carded eight birdies on her way to a final-round 65 and a three-shot victory. Yani Tseng was the runner-up.

Alfredsson's sixth career win pushed her across the $5 million mark in career earnings. She credited her workouts for keeping her going during the leaner years on tour.

"Well, I haven't really been having much success the last few years, Alfredsson said. "But I think one of my keys ... I've tried to stay fit all my life. I've had some injuries, but I always worked out and stayed pretty strong."

Look for the fit 43-year-old to stick around, too.

"I just love to play. I love to compete," she said.
