Waterless Streak at 17th Ends for Tom Lehman

Tom Lehman had played the par-3 17th island hole at the TPC Sawgrass a mind-numbing 57 times without a splashdown. That finally ended on Friday when Tom hit his tee shot into the drink.

Not surprisingly, Lehman has the best aggregate score on the hole that causes the world’s best golfers to want their mommies, something like 13 under.

The elder Lehman is playing a pretty respectable tournament, too, situated at even par heading into the final round.
