TV, Internet to broadcast open-wheel merger conference

ESPNEWS, SPEED Channel and IndyCar.com will carry the live press conference to announce the unification of American open-wheel racing on Wednesday at 12:25 p.m. ET.

The announcement will take place before the IndyCar Series Open Test at Homestead-Miami Speedway, which will run that night from 4 to 10 p.m. ET.
