Joe Kennedy Dies
Joe Kennedy, one of the D-backs’ early August waiver acquisitions, died in his Florida home early Friday morning. The cause of death is not known.
He wasn’t with the team very long, appearing in only 3 games. Arizona designated the southpaw for assignment after allowing 6 earned runs in 1/3 of an inning on August 14 at Florida.
Our thoughts are with his friends and family, including his wife and one-year old son.
