Well my name is Kevin Collazo and if there is one thing you should know about me, it's that I am a Mets fan through and through. I take a lot of pride in writing for a site dedicated toward a very reachable goal. I was offered the position to rant and rave about my favorite baseball team and I truly thank MVN for giving me the chance. Growing up, I have always been a baseball fan, in general, due to my family being torn between the Mets and Yanks. When I was around 7 years old, I was taken out of school to go to my first game. I thought I had done something wrong but that wasn't the case. It was just father/son time and it made quite the impression on me and my decision to be a Mets fan. My father would always watch the Mets and I would be sitting there watching him scream at the tv because they just rarely seemed to play good baseball. However, make no mistake about it, if anyone else ever bad mouthed his Mets, they were in for a heap of trouble as my father was also a fan of the old school wrestling. Scissor head locks were frequent for those who chose to go the anti-Met route, and I wanted no part of that. Orange and blue for me thank you. That passion for a team that was losing stuck on me. I began to wonder why in the world couldn't this team win? It didn't matter though. They were my team as well. They only lose the ones that everyone expects them to win. Apparently the road to that has not changed much as I am still dealing with the loss to St.Louis...... I......I tell myself that if Beltran would have swung at that, he would have knocked the moon out of orbit and caused much havoc in the solar system, so he saved us all..... Ok, another thing about me is I like to believe that I am funnier than I really am. One day, someone will understand my humor and just go along with me. Honestly though, I am also an accomplished illustrator and I sing in a great band called Live Society. We have the honors of being the BoDog Battle of the Bands NYC champions. Back to MVN, I take my sports very seriously and I truly appreciate every single reply to my posts. I enjoy having memories of daily privileges, working with my former co-writer Shari Forst. She and I rarely ever agreed on anything BUT IT WORKED. I'll take all that she taught me and attribute it toward Take the 7 Train. So quite reading up about me and read the posts I'm writing, send some replies and lets get these fingers clackin on the keyboards.
