The Only Problem With Four Straight 2-1 Wins…
The only problem with four straight 2-1 victories while I’m on the east coast is that now I’m afraid that when I come home the boys will stop winning.
I arrived back at the Washington Plaza Hotel on Thomas Square from a B-52’s & Cyndi Lauper concert just in time to watch gameday as Scott Hairston’s drive sailed over the left field wall. Sweet! I guess there are some things nice about the time difference.
I went to the Giants-Nats on Friday and saw an example of the fact that as bad as we think we have it, it would be far worse without how great our starting pitching is. The Nats got killed and it wasn’t pretty. Especially because about 7 of the 10 Giant runs came after Aaron Boone missed two foul pop-ups that Adrian Gonzalez gloves quite easily.
I’ll catch up a bit after I’m done hustling and bustling. Right now, I’m out the door to check out more museums and monuments.
