Josh Hamilton’s first-inning laser to the left-center field bleachers has the Rangers up 1-0…Feldman’s getting a visit from catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia with two outs and two on in the bottom of the inning…

Feldman’s out of the inning after a line-out to right by Cuddyer…

Grieve just mentioned that Hamilton hit a ball during batting practice above the left-most championship banner in right field, which can be seen in today’s Gameday picture…wow…

Kinsler just smashed one into the left field seats…2-0 Texas…

Bad two-out error by Hamilton leads to a run scoring in the third…2-1 Rangers…

The umpire tonight really seems to be favoring the Twins - or at the very least squeezing Scott Feldman. Tough to take BS like that.
May 19th, 2008 at 6:16 pm
And there’s a three run homer from Alexi Casilla, of all people…
Sigh…

Well, Jon Lester gets his no-hitter, and the Rangers get back into the game, but a golden opportunity is squandered in the seventh…
Tim Tschida’s strike zone is garbage…

MY on first and one out in the top of the eighth…Twins lead 5-4…
May 19th, 2008 at 7:17 pm
MB III connects again! 5-5 game on an RBI double to left-center…
May 19th, 2008 at 7:19 pm
Comeback complete!! Murphy smashes one back through the middle, 6-5 Rangers as Bradley trots home…
May 19th, 2008 at 7:26 pm
Benoit is in to face Morneau to lead off the eighth…TAG is theorizing that Guardado’s short talk with trainer Jamie Reed between innings could mean he’s being bothered by something…
May 19th, 2008 at 7:43 pm
Benoit locks down the eighth after a few scary moments, and the Rangers have two on and no outs in the ninth, looking to pad CJ’s lead…
May 19th, 2008 at 7:59 pm
And the Rangers lose in the bottom of the ninth…
Maybe CJ needs a new titanium necklace…
May 19th, 2008 at 8:06 pm
OK, so I’m an idiot and thought the tying run was actually the winning run…it’s 6-6 in the 10th, and I’m feeling really stupid…
May 19th, 2008 at 8:24 pm
Two on, one out for Texas in the 11th…
May 19th, 2008 at 8:47 pm
And it’s the bottom of the eleventh…Francisco trying to retire Mauer with two on and one out in a 6-6 game…

What on earth is wrong with this umpire? That ball to end the 12th was wider than the earth is round.
May 19th, 2008 at 9:12 pm
Franklyn German sucks.
That is all.
May 19th, 2008 at 9:13 pm
No excuse for losing this game. The team played terrible until they came back in the 7th and 8th, and then just let it slip away as if they didn’t even care.
May 19th, 2008 at 9:16 pm
I can’t believe I stayed up for that. Pretty sucky to watch the Stars go down and then witness this poop-fest.
Am I crazy for asking this question? - Who is going to close when it becomes clear that CJ can’t do it?
May 19th, 2008 at 9:20 pm
Yeah, and I was also rooting for the Hornets to knock off the Spurs…I went 0-for-3 tonight…
CJ hasn’t lost the closer’s job yet. But Washington has shown a past affinity for Eddie Guardado, and I have to think that his grip on the role is beginning to loosen…
