    Good game yesterday.

I tip my hat to Texas. They deserved the win. They got a very good performance by Padilla. Eddie and C.J. were great too in closing out. I kept waiting for the bullpen to give up a run, but that never happened.

Normally, the Twins always get bloop hits at home. They never get shutout at home. You don’t see that often so I give the Rangers credit. What was interesting was how the Twins were hitting to Padilla often in this game.

Scott Baker has been excellent all season, and he has pitched like an ace. He has replaced Johan Santana as the stopper. He did a great job in this game.
