- Wednesday-Reds RHP Homer Bailey (0-5, 7.55) vs. Brewers RHP Jeff Suppan (6-7, 4.75)
Notes, etc.
- This is the “who cares?” edition.
- Why did the Reds keep all these players again?
- I hope Homer Bailey is learning on the job like Edinson Volquez did when he first came up and got shelled. Do I have faith in Homer’s brain??? eh, not sure at this point
- Jerry Hairston is hurt…again. UGH!! Can’t show what you can do from the bench. Seems to be a pattern.
- I like Votto in the 2 hole right now.
- And, even though it’s back-to-back lefties, I like Bruce in the 3 hole. Honestly, he’s probably going to be the 3-hole hitter in the future, so why not let him get used to it now? I like it.
- Keppinger starting to prove why he can’t do SS everyday? As good as Phillips is at second, why not at least explore switching the two players? BP has the arm and the range. See what he can do.
- Reds take 2-of-3 from the Brewers? With the pitching matchups, I actually like their chances. (How many times can you say that??)
- Walt, make some deals!!!! Get rid of some dead weight…or at least some weight that could bring back some talent. ANY talent.

Not switching BP and Kepp is just plain stupid.
