Clemens and McNamee on the hill

Boy, Clemens sure took a beating today. Jayson Stark had a fantastic day live blogging the events, and if you want to catch up on it, definitely read over his posts on the subject.

By the way, Brian McNamee also took a large beating, but his beating was more of his character. Clemens took the factual beatings -- the beatings that mattered.

And Pettitte gets away with continued lying about PED use because he's a "good guy".

Pettite's non-apology kind of sucked, but he's been pretty honest since then. I don't see how he can be called a liar at this point. Especially when compared to Clemens.

Oh, when compared to Clemens he's an angel. But Pettitte lied when he was first implicated by Grimsley. Then he lied again when the Mitchell Report came out. He's been anything but honest about his HGH use. He could even be lying now, we don't know.

Clemens took a major hit today and will pay dearly going forward. He has lost all credibility and is even less credible than Mcnamee.

He might end up serving time with Vick, Marion, Jones and possibly Bonds.

Bob, I just congratulated Moshe and getting into NYU and said how great it was. Not every Red Sox fan who reads the site is a troll.

OT,you went after Pettitte in two out of the last three blogs. As Evan might say,we get it.You were bashing rivera the blog before that so tou remind of Edelman. Are you?We are all glad Moshe got into NYU but saying congrats in order to spin your spin is a little weak.

Bob, I said congrats to Moshe well before you started complaining about me. I didn't bash anyone. If you can't take debate about baseball then just ignore my comments. It's really not all that hard to handle if you've got an ounce of maturity.

Looks like you got yourself a stalker Olde Town. Couldn't be our old friend Tony, could it? He's the only one I know who's this obsessed with you.

Everyone wave hi to Tony!

What pisses me off about these hearings more then anything is the bi-partisan b.s. Democrats believe McNamee and republicans trying to save Clemens reputation. Can't anyone just call it as they see it (ahem, Republicans). Although Clemens looks guilty to me I would be psyched to see a Democrat take his side or to see a Republican call him out at this point...If I am wrong, I apologize, from the highlights I saw this was the impression that I got.
