Boston Red Sox podcast for MVN Radio Episode 6 where Paul is stuck in Rochester, NY, the Red Sox are rolling, and Bill Ferris talks Tigers.

Episode #6
Hosts: Paul Testa, Tim Daloisio
Guests: Bill Ferris (The Detroit Tigers Weblog)

The Red Sox are back to streaking and Paul and I are back to podcasting, with a twist.  This time Paul joins us via cell phone from the always exciting mecca of Rochester, NY.  Of course, that doesn’t stop us from using up his free night minutes and reacting to the Red Sox winning streak.

A frustrated Bill Ferris joins us to talk Tigers and I’m afraid the news isn’t getting any better for his club halfway through the four game set.

And we take a look at the week that was on Fire Brand of the American League.  We take a little issue with Zach and challenge the notion that Daisuke Matsuzaka is an ace in the making and forbid Theo Epstein from considering the notion of Rafael Furcal as the next rider on the Boston SS carousel.

All that and more on Episode #6 of Fireside Chats at MVN!

Julio trumps Furcal, big time. Lowrie trumps Lugo, big time. Ergo, Lowrie trumps Furcal really big time.

We already have our future SS carousal champion, a solid glove and bat in the mold of Pedroia. I hope he d gets more experience before Alex comes back. Dustin is tired, the only one without a break, and his Jed-clone will fill in admirably. C’mon Tito.

Looks like the show got a little scrambled upon uploading. I am replacing the file now…so re-download if you’ve done so already. Sorry about that.

Geez, I’m really starting to question if the Tigers can finish .500 at this point. They need some consistency.
