NYY 3, BOS 2: Giambi saves series

At least Jason Giambi did not want to get swept by the Boston Red Sox as he carried the Yankees on his shoulders for a 3-2 victory.

A two-run homer in the seventh tied the game up at 2-2 and in the ninth Giambi delivered the walk-off single to stop Boston from completing the sweep.

Goat of the Game: Pen

Let this one slip away boys

Next Game: Let it go

Just regroup tomorrow.  There are too many important games left to play.

We won the last Red Sox-Yankee series at Fenway Park, and won it dramatically. I wonder if Jon Lester could have finished the game with a shutout? I wonder if Justin Masterson will be moved to the rotation to replace Beckett, and Pauley to the Pen to replace him???

Sorry again. The last Sox-Yanks series at Yankee Stadium. You gotta love it.

He's a Yankee fan ... He's a supporter of the face of steroids in NY ... and ... to top it all ... he believes in something he refers to as ... "Stache Power" ... that is one confused individual
