It's where the Red Sox were founded in 1901. They moved to Boston in 1903 and proceeded to win 5 World Series before 1918. 6 if you count the New York Giants refusing to play them because the American League (which had just won the World Series) was inferior to the National League.

*5 world series THROUGH 1918

Thanks. Early Red Sox history I know, most other Red Sox history I'm shaky on.
