Fire Brand doused
I'm writing with a heavy heart to say that Fire Brand is shuttering it's doors...
For the weekend.
What, you thought I was shutting it down for good?
We'll be off-line starting around 9 a.m. Saturday through 6 a.m. Tuesday to switch over to the new platform. The new platform isn't exactly 100 percent ready, but this is the best time to make the switch, and the platform is ready enough.
By the way, want to give big ups to Fire Brand for recently passing 2,500 posts and 30,000 comments.
Later today you'll see a featured article, Samara's Terrible Cartoons, a new poll and of course, a game thread. After that, enjoy the weekend and try not to suffer from too much withdrawal.

Withdrawals are painful. Congratulations on moving forward in tough times, like the Sox themselves.
