I would imagine this is in reference to the division title

That occurred to me as well but all the bloggers are only noticing it today which makes me think that it's just been put up... which would intimate ALCS...

MLB has been known for putting up shirts before/during a crucial playoff series that assumes an outcome.

QUESTION!

MLB.com says that Papelbon is an out away from Joe Niekro's record of all-time consecutive postseason innings. They claim the record is 20 consecutive innings.

But doesn't Mariano Rivera have the record at 30+ innings? I thought I remembered him beating Whitey Ford's number for the record.

This is no time to be sick, Sean. Your full attention is needed to get another dominant performance from Daisuke. Get well.

Tommy...Erik...can you please explain that?

Wait, I forgot to add the suggestion of massive hubris. The Cleveland Indians thought the same thing in 2007 as the Yankees did in 2004.

How'd the invisible suds taste buddy? At least the Rays are classier and more modest than let's say the Angels or Hank Steinbrenner.

Boy Wonder,

Good question... I'm going to have to believe MLB. Perhaps it was a different record that Mariano passed?

well at least we have some bulletin board material... we're three hours away and I'm already felling like throwing up, although a win would probably fix that
