Minor line-up change for Sox
Game thread coming around 3ish. Francona is sticking with Jacoby and Kotsay and benching Lowrie ...

no reason given for benching Lowrie, I know he hasn't been picking up a ton of hits, but he has been walking a lot, I'm guessing this is a one game thing

I want to see Bay in the 3rd hole, and Papi in the 6th.
But, of course, Tito never listens to me...

I agree with MAG on this, and wouldn't mind Ells in the 9th hole, except he has done well against Garza and could be just where he belongs today. I don't worry too much about Cora. He usually gets a hit, and is usually steady on D. Lowrie is still a true rookie and could use a break.

Papi took some batting practice and hammer the Monster (redsox.com) so hopefully tonight he'll stop trying to pull the ball and just crush 'em at/over the Monster.
