Maddux wins 350th game
Congratulations to Greg Maddux who won his start today against the Rockies, becoming the ninth pitcher to ever win 350 games. Likely in his last season, this is obviously a remarkable accomplishment for Maddux.
This was the fifth chance for Maddux to reach the milestone, and he delivered, going six strong innings and only giving up one run, which was unearned. It got a little tense with the bullpen in the eighth inning, but the win for him was preserved.
