White Sox Road Trips Starts Off Well
The White Sox winning two out of three in Seattle was a great way to start the long 10 game west coast swing, but now things really get tough as they visit the “perennial power” Los Angeles Angels who are returning home after losing their last four games on the road.
The good news: The Angels are on a four game losing streak.
The bad news: They’re returning home, they’re pissed, and they’re facing Mark Buehrle who was absolutely shelled in his last outing. (He gave up seven earned runs in only one and two-thirds innings.)
This one looks like it could be an Angels blow out, but I wouldn’t count veteran Mark Buehrle out quite yet. The last two times he gave up seven or more earned runs, he followed it up with solid performances. The other thing that Buehrle has going for him is that he is facing off against rookie Nick Adenhart who has struggled terribly in his first two career starts. (He has given up eight runs on nine hits and ten walks in just six and one third innings over his first two starts.)
Tonight’s game should feature quite a bit of offense, which could be exactly what the doctor ordered for this White Sox club. There are some signs that guys like Orlando Cabrera and Paul Konerko are beginning to find their stroke, but it would be really nice to see a total team effort and ten or more runs on the board.
That is, of course, assuming that Buehrle can hold them to less than ten.

Looks like Buehrle couldn’t keep the Angels down.
