Andre Iguodala on AXG TV with Anthony Gilbert
You know at Passion and Pride, we drop it like it’s hot. Always in the know, Anthony Gilbert stops by with another AXG exclusive. He caught some time courtside with Andre Iguodala at practice.
It was another world-famous 2 Questions segment. Andre talked about the turning point of the season and what it means to be a leader. As Iguodala says, it’s tough. You have to tell guys what they need to hear and be honest with them. There are no free lunches. You can see with a leader like Iguodala why this team plays hard every night. It wasn’t always like that when he first came into the league.
At the end, AG challenges AI to a game of one-on-one. Go easy on him, AG. We need to resign him next year!

Andre Igoudala is developing into a great young leader for the 76ers. I really wish someone from the Bulls young core would step up, but everyone is different.
As for that 1-on-1, AG might have some hidden talent.

Is it me or does Iggy always look pissed off?

I always wondered the same thing, Justin. He must be so ripped that he can’t smile anymore. Seriously though, I think he’s had enough of all the losing.

I believe the best part is when AG makes a comment about being in Oregon, something along those lines. He expects a laugh, or at least a smile from Iggy, but he gets nothing, just an expressionless face from Dre.

I don’t know that AG really expects a laugh or smile from Dre there. Both of them know he’s talking about Nike. That was more like a shout out than anything else.
My favorite part is when Dre responds to the one-on-one request with “I’ll play left-handed”.
