I like how it happened so fast that he was saying “Posey will defend” as LeBron is stuffing it home. And how awesome is it that national announcers are as excited as the home town crowd by that dunk. “LeBron James with no regard for human life” … I have no idea what that means, but that’s awesome.
I love the little move he put on Posey … and then the posterization of KG. Finesse + power … gotta love it.
But here’s the thing: pause it at about the 6 second mark on the clip. Count them: 1, 2, 3, 4 wide open Cavs. This is why I hate seeing LeBron chuck up fadeaway 20 footers–he’s doing the defenders a favor when he does that. You’re not going to get the dunk every time, but by penetrating even a little you’re going to draw at least one extra defender. I’d much rather see a 3 from Boobie or Wally, or an open 15 footer from Z or Smith than another damn contested fadeaway with one foot on the 3 point line.

Good catch, Charlie. I’m glad LeBron’s been settling less for 20-foot jumpers now, and that has to keep going.

Amar…I believe we need one of your patented “F you people at the four-letter network who continuously spit your babble about LeBron leaving for New York” posts. Chris Sheridan is at it again.
