Dolan & Isiah Try to Ban Free Speech From MSG
It has been a season of turmoil, bad coaching and heartless play for the New York Knicks in the 2007-2008 season so far. There has been the recently settled sexual harassment case against Madison Square Garden. What about Eddy Curry playing with no heart or how about “star” PG Stephon Marbury’s disappearing act. There was also a unanimous NO in a players only vote to see if the Knicks should take back Marbury. So genius “Coach” Isiah Thomas decides he’ll keep him out of the starting lineup for only one game!!! So guess what “Coach” you have now lost the respect of your players that you assembled and it shows in their lazy play. Naturally now Knicks fans who aren’t stupid are going to boo their “Coach,” GM, and President and chant “FIIIRE ISIIIAH.” So what does Isiah do? Act as classless as ever and yell back at one of the hecklers during Wednesday’s embarrassing loss to the rebuilding Sonics. Isiah had the nerve to blame Michael Katz (the heckler) and the rest of the fans for the teams misfortunes!!!! Since when does a season ticket holder put together the roster? Does a season ticket holder draw up plays in the final seconds of games? NO!!! Isiah why don’t you just quit already?
According to a New York Times article this morning the fan who was “heckling” (Michael Katz) received a warning card from MSG to stop. This warning should be out there for public view so the Knicks fans can see what kind of BS is going on at the Garden. The warning went as follows “You are being issued a warning that the comments, gestures and/or behaviors that you have directed at players, coaches, game officials and/or other spectators constitute excessive verbal abuse and are in violation of the NBA FAN CODE of conduct. This is the first and only warning that you will receive. If, after receiving this warning, you verbally abuse any player, coach, game official or spectator, you will be immediately ejected from the arena without refund.” Hey Dolan and Isiah the fans don’t work for MSG they pay your bills!!! You can’t fire them or tell them what to say this is AMERICA, F— YEAH. In a season with so much disagreement between fans and the management; did the Knicks really have to issue this warning and stir up more controversy?
The Knicks’ next home game is Saturday night when they host the hated New Jersey Nets. So regardless if the Knicks beat Chicago or not tonight, expect the boo birds to be out in full force tomorrow night. So Isiah why don’t you just quit already is it really worth all of this? Mike Francesa of the Mike and the Mad Dog show on WFAN brought up a great point the other day saying that “nobody knows what Isiah’s contract is and nobody knows how much money he will get if or when he gets fired.” He is absolutely right and who really knows? He is probably due a huge pay day and checks the next couple of years if he is canned. If anybody can shed light on what Isiah’s contract is and how much he will get payed when fired please let me know. There’s no way Isiah is going to quit since he has already ruined his chance of getting another job ever again. So to my understanding if he quits he gets nothing if he is fired he still gets paid. So if you were Isiah Thomas would you quit? I know I wouldn’t quit, but I’m not a millionaire yet. So “Coach” is the money really worth the embarrassment?

Wow,
This guy Dolan is incredible. Who would, that doesn’t have too, work for him?
The MSG network is a joke, he censor all the employee opinion, even Kenny smith. And, what’s up with all that up and coming bands BS?
Now the fans (that pay money more than any other team’s fan) are not allowed to voice they’re opinion. If this guy isn’t throwing stuff or mooning them, then he isn’t doing anything wrong. That’s BS.
And one more thing, I don’t think the team gave up on Isiah, there just not that good. The only guy not really hustling is Eddy. And that’s because he’s out of shape. For all that money he earning he should hit the wait room and turn all that fat into muscle. And do some sit ups man.

Every morning i read about the knicks i makes me sadder and sadder to be a knicks fan, I am so disgusted by this team mainly management ie Thomas and Dolan. I think fans should stop going to the games, I am not going to another game until they have cleaned up their act. I think WE THE FANS should have a strike against the team and protest for change. In an article today in the post it says that Curry, Q, Lee have asked to be traded silently. Its time to start over and REBUILD and i mean rebuild not Isiahs thought of rebuilding, i was thinking of shedding payroll, i say trade Curry for Kwame Brown (expiring contract) the lakers could use a low post scorer. Crawford for Hakim Warrick and Stromile Swift of the Grizzles. Q to the cavs for Ira Newble and Eric Snow i dont know if this third trade is doable but Jefferies for Lue and Lorenzen Wright of the hawks. These are all expiring contracts that how we need to rebuild, then in the process we could potential get a top 5 pick and draft a star that we can build around ie Rose, Beasley or Mayo. I dont think Hibbert is a player we can build around i think he will be a good player but not franchise player. In an case we have to start by changing upper managment.

this whole situation would be rectified if isiah was just fired. his press conferences piss me off. its all fixed hes trying so hard not to show emotion. the whole knick team should be fired and redo a whole roster with just jamal crawford and david lee. problem answered

Do you know what would force Dolan to make some changes?
If no fans turn up to the game. The team is playing so pathetically that I would only go to watch their opponent play.
If people stop buying tickets the Knicks will start to lose money and Dolan will be forced to do something. The players have lost all respect for their coach after he let Marbury back after the ‘NO’ vote. The fans lost all respect for the coach ages ago.
The sexual harassment incident alone should be enough to cost him his job.

I read the article in the post today, its clear the team has quit on isiah, Isiah said the “energy guys” (nate, balkman, jefferries) has no energy. It also isinuates that isiah mite trade chandler and/or d lee. I say isiah should be fired and not to make anymore trades esp if he is going to give away good young players or take back long expensive contract.

I know we keep saying Zeke should be fired for the sex assult case but in their defense, they vehemently deny it ever happened. This could be a situation where this lady was ego tripping and bumped heads with the coach and then tried to cause divison within the org. When Dolan found that out he fired her. She was caught attempting to coerce workers into lying but we pay that no attention.
I’m just saying it’s not a coincident that there were no reprimations for Isiah from Dolan or Stern.
With that said lets keep zeke, trade as many players that we can and get the #1 pick in next year. and then land Lebron since the Kobe dream is disipating.
