Roller Coaster

The Wiz have come back down to earth.  After a 6 game win streak, it was only natural they would drop a couple.  I would have liked to have split this weekend series with Golden State and Memphis, but what can you do?  The Wizards offense showed up both nights, it just looked like they were tired on the defensive end, especially on Saturday night, it being the 4th game in 5 nights for them.

Not sure I’m that upset about the losses, but let’s hope the team realizes that they are going to need to play great defense to get wins, just like they did during their win streak.

But get ready.  This season will be a roller coaster.  Win a few, lose a few.  They’ll look good some weeks, bad others.  Time to get used to it!

I do like the recent play of Nick Young.  I really think this kid is going to be a player.  It may take a while, as his defense is truly Wizards-like, but I do think this team can hover around .500 until Arenas gets back and hopefully then get on a hot streak.  How’s that for optimism!?

Hey, at least you win some while losing some. My team loses some, and loses some more (with a few wins mixed in for torture). Your team looked like the Celtics of the early 60s against my Sixers. I like your optimism! (lol)

I’m down with optimism. What else is there when dealing with the Wiz? Haha.

These last couple of losses are disheartening. Our scoring has continued to rise, but our defense is once again lacking. I still can’t wrap my brain around how they gave up 130+ points to Golden State! This is getting ridiculous. We need Big Pech back on both ends of the floor.
