Super Bowl predictions from Mining the Gold Rush
I went 0-2 last week, putting me at 7-5 for the post season. But hey, you know what? I actually am an Eli Manning fan, so seeing him get this far makes me happy. Don’t judge me because I like Eli, I’ve stuck with him since his rookie year, drafting him in all my fantasy teams every year. I know, I am not smart for doing that, but this year, he actually helped me a lot in my fantasy team.
So anyway, if you haven’t, check this post I made earlier this week. These are 10 reasons why you’ll be tuning into the game this Sunday.
I have money going in this game too, so come check out what I think will be the outcome of this game.
OK, I have two predictions. The reality prediction, and the biased prediction.
Too lazy to read all that? Just watch my video!
My biased prediction has me saying the Giants. Well, for one thing, I have money riding on this game, and the reward is bigger if the Giants win. But also because I like Eli. And also, as a 49ers fan, I don’t want anyone matching what Joe Montana has done. However, I still think the Giants are capable of winning this game. The defense needs to be solid, rattling Brady just a little. And the offense needs to do what they have been doing all postseason.
I won’t predict what will happen or anything, but my biased ways tell me the Giants are winning 28-24.
But in all reality, I’d be a fool not to believe the Patriots are the better team. They have been so good in every aspect of their game. No deficit scares them. They are balanced on every aspect of the game. They have players who have been there before, and know what it takes to win.
So in reality, if the Patriots were to win, it would be a 42-21 win. They will come out strong and never look back.
So there you have it. My hopeful pick, and my reality pick.
I am not a fan of either team really, but as a football fan, I love to see history being made. So, the Pats going 19-0 is history. The Giants ending the Patriots perfect season is history. So in that sense, I’ll be seeing something I like regardless.
But if you want that bold prediction from me, as I have all season. Giants win 28-24.
