49ers sign second pick Chilo Rachal to four-year deal
The 49ers have signed guard Chilo Rachal. Though the 49ers site does not mention how long the deal is, the reports say that the rookie’s signed to a four-year deal. Listed as a guard, Rachal could also play the tackle position.
Rachal was a stud at USC, not allowing a sack at his position in 21 games played. He was moved around during the OTAs and found himself playing a lot at the tackle position. He is actually one of the draft picks I am excited for. Knowing the track record of USC players, especially their great offense, I have nothing but high hopes for the rookie.
The Niners have now signed three rookies from the draft (Morgan, Grant and Rachal). Let’s hope they finish up the rest of the rookies soon.
