Bengals Trim Three To Get Closer to 80

Bengals news has been slow of late, so I will attempt to make a story out of a non-story as the Bengals got closer to the mandated 80 man roster today cutting defensive tackles Titus Adams and Michael Marquardt and CB Jerrid Gaines.  With 82 players on the roster, two more players must go prior to camp. Of the three the cut of _______ is most surprising…..ok,  no big surprises here.  None of the these guys were considered serious roster contenders.  It does make me wonder how the media and team’s were making such a big deal about the 80 man limit and lack of NFLE exemptions, etc…  If team’s are going to miss NFL Europa it is because of the development that players received from playing not from the extra roster spots.
