Warren Sapp’s Biggest Regret
Warren Sapp, former Buccaneer great, was on the Dan Patrick Show, and conducted a brief interview. When Patrick asked him what his biggest career regret was, Sapp responded:
“Didn’t finish it in Tampa, didn’t get 100, didn’t catch Lee Roy.”
The 100 refers to 100 career sacks; Sapp retired with 99. When he said that he didn’t catch Lee Roy, he is referring to Lee Roy Selmon, who holds the Buccaneers sack record with 78.5. Sapp left the Bucs with 77. He may be going into the Hall of Fame as a Raider, but knowing that he regrets leaving Tampa eases the pain.

I was hoping that Sapp would finally apologize for the cheap shot he left his feet for vs Chad Clifton of the Packers after a Favre INT, and Clifton was so far beyond the play, there was no hope he’d catch the d back running the other way. Still can’t believe the league did not fine Sapp, who other than that one play is a hall of famer in my mind.

If it was CHEAP he would have been fined. If he didnt get hurt it would have been a non issue.
Let it go
