The Chiefs Team Up With The Raiders To Fight Autism
Usually, fans of the Chiefs and Raider Nation are mortal enemies - we just can’t seem to get along. The Raiders think it’s because Chiefs fans are jealous of their success and they have an owner dedicated to winning. I don’t have enough room here to indicate why I don’t care for Oakland fans or their team very much - pictures like these pretty much do my talking for me.
Regardless, sometimes there are issues that take precedent over football rivalries - and this is one.
There is a fundraiser for “Autism Speaks” happening on August 15th in Oakland. While I realize that many of my KC readers won’t be able to attend, there is a chance to make a contribution. Patrick Patterson, the outstanding writer for the Oakland Raiders’ site on MVN, has a writeup on the cause and who you would be helping. If you would like to help, please email Candy Padilla at Candycane1973@aol.com .
Thanks for your help, Chiefs’ fans - it will be greatly appreciated.

Ryan - Really appreciate the support for this.
Chiefs fan - Thanks so much for any and all the help you can give with this. Fan affiliations don’t matter much when it comes to the human element. If you live in the area, wear your jersey and show up, you’ll be more than welcomed.
