Colts Face a Bitter Baltimore Team

Clinging to the #2 seed in the AFC, the Colts prepare to face the angry, bitter Baltimore Ravens. Having a win stripped from them with under a minute left in last week’s loss to the Patriots, the Ravens are sure to put up a fight this coming Sunday. Another force driving the Ravens to a hard fought game this weekend will be their 15-6 loss to the Colts last year in the AFC divisional playoff game.

All of this aside, this game will come down to the Colts’ offense and the Raven’s defense. It is well known that Baltimore’s offense hasn’t been that great this year (a HUGE understatement and with the exception of last weeks game, mind you). Their defense on the other hand is explosive and always full of surprises. This said, they will still have their work cut out for them with the equally surprising Colts’ offense.

Also in the Colts’ favor is the possible return of Marvin Harrison. As of Tuesday, he participated in practice but is still listed as Questionable on the team’s website.

Although, by numbers, the Ravens are only 4-8, this match-up will still be a good one featuring this vengeful Baltimore team seeking out the victory that didn’t quite happen last week. When all is said and done though, the Colts will pull another victory out and carry on atop the AFC South.

Oh, and regardless of how well either team plays- the Colts will win. Afterall, fans can rest assured: I spoke with Dungy and he put a little extra somthing in the referees’ checks for this week’s game. Dually noted, Colts’ defensive line coordinator, John Teerlinck,  held an extra practice this week to perfect the technique of instigating opposing players and “forcing” penalites.

Finally, those of you planning on attending Paul Spicer and Jack Del Rio’s pity party, don’t forget to RSVP.

Christine is indeed a talented writer. Mike probably isn’t impressed because he’s a Ravens fan. Good job, Christine!

Even with Harrison out, this game is in the bag. Baltimore QB Boller played out of his mind vs the Patriots.
Ohio State? After playing a season of all the Ohio junior colleges and a down Big Ten (not their fault you play who’s in your conference) OSU will face a battle tested LSU. Look at the Florida bowl score from earlier this year and expect the same.
