Packers Fan For a Day
If you can’t beat ‘em, then root for someone else to.
Let’s save New York fans the strain of having to read and get to the point: the Green Bay Packers are going to beat the Giants in the NFC Championship game tomorrow.
Although football is ruined in these parts until training camp, loyal Cowboy fans can still rally around the television this weekend and cheer for the event that ranks just below a Dallas win in the excitement column: a Giants loss.
Now, it is not easy to actually be favoring Green Bay, especially quarterback Brett Favre. (Note to Favre: if you do win the Super Bowl, go ahead and retire, so I can start fielding offers on that rookie card of yours I’ve been stashing).
Of course, some may think this is just sour grapes over the Giants’ defeat of the Cowboys last week. Guess what? Some of it is. Most, actually. But, it’s also a conclusion that the Packers are quite simply a better football team than New York.
First of all, New York has gotten by in the playoffs by beating Tampa Bay and Dallas. The Buccaneers ended the regular season 1-3, with the lone win coming against Atlanta. They were “led” by quarterback Jeff Garcia–he of just one 300-yard passing game this season–and barely won the NFC South. This team wasn’t playing good football, and hadn’t been for a month, when New York showed up.
As for the Cowboys, well, most who picked them probably assumed that the team would put forth effort and demonstrate some comprehension of the basics of football. The did not, however; as bad as Dallas played, the Giants should have won that game.
Next up, though, is a team that has been sizzling since getting beatdown in Big D after Thanksgiving. Since then, Favre, running back Ryan Grant, and wide receiver Greg Jennings have been unstoppable. The Packers victory over Seattle last week was so thorough, I had to invent a new word to describe it: squampommelled.
Unlike the Cowboys, the Packers will probably not forget how to tackle, not commit penalties, nor catch the football. In short, the Giants are going to have to play a real game.
When Green Bay has the football, Favre is obviously the key. This year, the most important aspect of his success has been his decision-making with the ball. Although he’s still a “gunslinger,” his offensive line has allowed him to stay in the pocket and read the entire field. As a result, his interceptions are down, while his completion percentage is near a career high. While the Giants have an exceptional ability to put pressure on the quarterback, Favre’s release is so quick that New York may need to hold off on blitzing so often in order not to get burned. This means Michael Strahan and Justin Tuck will have to get pressure by themselves. If they are contained, Favre will have no Romo-esque problems picking apart an injured New York secondary.
When Favre does have time, he’s going to be looking for Jennings. And why not? All Jennings does is catch touchdowns. In just his second season out of Western Michigan, Jennings has developed into one of the Top Ten scoring threats in the league. Despite having 30 fewer receptions that Donald Driver, he had only 130 less yards and ten more touchdowns. Without a completely healthy Aaron Ross, Jennings will find the endzone at least twice.
The biggest concern for the New York defense, though, has to be Grant. He has been the NFL’s most valuable running back this season (yes, even more than Marion Barber). Despite only playing half of the season, he nearly rushed for 1,000 yards and averaged more than five yards per carry. In the NFL. Add in his 201 yards versus the Seahawks, and he’s got 1,130 yards in just 11 games while averaging a staggering 5.4 ypc. During this streak, he’s also averaging only 19 carries each game, so he is going to be one of the healthiest players on the field in Lambeau.
On offense, New York has been efficient all season, but only managed 23 points per game. While quarterback Eli Manning has been steady during the postseason–4 TDs, 0 INTs–this is still his first experience in a truly big game. The NFC Championship is more than just a slight step-up from the Independence Bowl.
Against Green Bay, Manning will be faced with a very strong, aggressive secondary and perhaps the fastest group of linebackers in the league. Nick Barnett and A.J. Hawk are strong and can make even Brandon Jacobs look slow.
Outside, Charles Woodson and Al Harris will be very physical with Plaxico Burress and impressive rookie Steve Smith. Nick Collins, though, represents a tremendous upgrade over Roy Williams, so Amani Toomer should forget about any 52-yard jaunts down the field.
Despite the improvement shown this year, Manning can still be rattled by pressure in the pocket, which can make his 56.1 completion percentage even lower and his 20 interceptions even higher.
Finally, unlike Tampa and Dallas, the Packers will enjoy a very tangible home-field advantage. The aura of Lambeau Field can be intimidating for a young quarterback making his first appearance (he didn’t play the last time New York was in Green Bay, a 14-7 win in 2004). Since the coldest Giants game this season was around 36 degrees, it could be 25 degrees cooler than anything Manning, or the rest of the team, have experienced this season. Yes, Green Bay has to play in the same conditions, but they looked just fine last week, and Favre is 43-5 in his career at home when the kickoff temperature is below 34.
By the way, Green Bay already hammered the Giants this season, winning 35-13 in Week 2.
While it may certainly be true that no team can beat the Giants three times in a row, even the Cowboys handled them twice. The Packers will, too.
Green Bay 30, New York 17.

Well I appreciate your prediction, seeing as it worked out so well for us last time. Enjoy the offseason!
January 19th, 2008 at 4:39 pm

Brian, you really are that dumb aren’t you? The Bucaneers sat there starters for teh final few games. What does their back-ups record have anything to do with the team the Giants dominated. lol
How’d your last prediction turn out? You were the laughing stock at my workplace, as well as every other establishment in america who read your last Cowboy dominating win over Giants prediction. LMAO
January 19th, 2008 at 9:19 pm
Jeez, I wonder what fueled this article. Could it be the comments left by Giants fans. You’re making it too obvious that those people got on your nerves bro. I see this as some lame attempt to redeem yourself….so you can say “haha told ya so!!” if the Giants lose to the Packers. It still won’t ever change the fact that you got burnt real bad on your other article.
January 20th, 2008 at 2:46 pm
Every single comment is dead on…and talk to your other writer about rewritting a post….He said Romo wasn’t the future…hours later it was deleted…I know there are lenty of fairweather fans rooting for the ‘Boys…i just disn’t think they write on the Cowboy Roundup.
The Ginats are playing inspired ball…it may be time to give credit when credit it due…the Giants fans and writers have done that regarding the Cowboys all season long. You might want to jump on the “journalistic bandwagon”

January 21st, 2008 at 7:57 am
Wow, LT56…you are classless.
Congrats to the Giants. I gave them little chance to win this game, but they pulled it out. Well done.
January 21st, 2008 at 8:39 am
LT #56, what’s with the use of the N word man, that’s totally uncalled for, keep in mind we all bleed blue if you’re a true Giant fan its one area color shouldnt matter. As a black man I am terribly offended by your choice of words. And all along I thought we were on the same side. Cmon man, show some respect. God Bless Texas, once again i give you your respect for not only being the only Dallas fan to continue posting and showing more heart than the bloggers who represent your team, but for also showing class in your analysis, I wish we cold have met earlier in the year cause it would have been some great commentary. My hat off to you. Go Big Blue!
January 21st, 2008 at 12:05 pm
Wow, just wow.
January 21st, 2008 at 12:06 pm
I’m sorry, I need to post again- I can’t fit everything into one post.
January 21st, 2008 at 12:06 pm
As a Cowboys fan, by the way, I am ready to concede that perhaps the Giants do not, in fact, suck. But only a little.
January 21st, 2008 at 12:17 pm
haahah yeah cowgirls can say shitttt now still crying with t.o and romo down in mexico !!! lol next year fellas!! HOW BOUT THEM GMEN!!!!
January 21st, 2008 at 1:32 pm
Well, the Giants squeaked by yet again. I hate them as a Cowboys fan, but one has to own up to the way this team has rallied. They are not the most talented team, but during the playoffs they have had few penalties and turnovers. And I think that is the reason they are in the Super Bowl this year. The Cowboys or Packers could have been surprises this year, but the Giants were afterthoughts…especially after an 0-2 start. It is a bit ironic that they finish the season by beating each of those teams. If any one person has made the biggest impact on this team, I think it has to be their Defensive Coordinator. And I’ve been saying for a week now that he will end up in Atlanta. I just figured he would be named their coach this Wednesday. Now it looks like it will be at least two weeks from now before he has to make any decisions.
January 21st, 2008 at 2:19 pm
Hey God Bless Texas
Like I told you a couple of days ago sit back and enjoy the giants historic superbowl run! Every time you pick us to lose you end up looking like a complete idoit. The cowgirls have 12 prowbowlers but that doesent mean shit! The pro bowl is just a popularity contest. They have no chemistry or balls to be a Championship team. They must clean house and get rid Of CRY BABT T.O. and most defintleyTono Homo. There is a reason he went un drafted So Pay HOMAGE TO YOUR NFC CHAMPIONS!!!!
January 21st, 2008 at 2:48 pm
Big Blue, you represent your team well with your spelling and your arguments.
January 21st, 2008 at 3:12 pm
I may have talked trash, but I followed it up with reasoning….not meaningless, empty, classless babble.
January 21st, 2008 at 3:14 pm
I’m done reasoning with you and other Giants fans like you. If you bring an understandable comment to this site that holds weight…I’ll give you a response.
January 21st, 2008 at 9:54 pm
Sorry Cowboy cry babys but you guys can “getcha Popcorn Ready” and watch Big Blue in The Super Bowl a place you guys haven’t been in years
Sucks to be Cowboys I know
And by the way
“They were who we thought they were”
January 21st, 2008 at 11:26 pm
Giants fans–your lack of class will never disappoint me. Are any of you capable of writing a sentence that doesn’t tell someone to suck this or lick that?
So you won a couple of football games, to phrase it in such a way that you can understand… “you still suck, assholes”!
January 22nd, 2008 at 1:03 am
GMadd i understand you are getting frustrated but that is exactly how we felt with Dallas fans heckling us all season and now you cowboys fans can eat krow instead of us for months to come. By the way, how can you say the NFC champions suck? it makes no sense. too bad there isn’t much you can say huh?
January 22nd, 2008 at 2:38 am
Holy cow man, it’s unfathomable that there isn’t a better writer in Texas than this Brian Smith guy. You have to be kidding me. He’s awful. This Cowboys blog needs to get a real writer. At least someone who knows a thing or two about football. Maybe if this site had a better writer it would get more traffic? Food for thought.
January 22nd, 2008 at 2:40 am
Yeah I’m a cowboys fan, and even i think Brian Smith is an idiot. I’ll agree with u Giants fans there lol. He’s awful. I hope he doesn’t think of himself as a real journalist or eek football analyst? He makes Cowboy fans look like a laughing stock.
January 22nd, 2008 at 9:35 am
Brian or Shawn,
You guys want to come up with some info/analysis for moves the Cowboys need to make for next year?
January 22nd, 2008 at 12:02 pm
Yo let it be known L.T. #56 does not represent all Giants fans, he’ll probably write 50 lines about me too now that I said something to him but I can’t get pas his “n” word comments which are uncalled for. I thought this was about football? God Bless Texas, glad to see you arent challenging this ignorance, he’s got a lot of hate in his heart that goes outside of football. Naturally our teams compete against each other so there will be some animosity but geez, this guy is over the top. Good luck to everyone next year, but this year belongs to the NY football Giants, that’s about as greasy as you’ll hear me speak for the sake of still maintaining some intelligent conversation. Dallas does have some pretty good players, but they played a bad game because they were overmatched, Any Given Sunday, that term exist for a reason. The best team all year doesnt always win the SB, just ask NE once we’re done with them.
January 22nd, 2008 at 1:42 pm
NYC,
Thanks man. Congrats to the Giants and their fans. This will make it three straight games you will be underdogs. I think most people don’t know what to expect at the Super Bowl. The Patriots keep winning, but I don’t think anyone sees them as invincible anymore. Nevertheless, you guys will definitely have to bring your A game to beat them. It’s possible. You guys have proven that.
But regardless of how well the Giants have come together in the playoffs, or how unforgettable the Patriots season has been….it doesn’t make this SuperBowl any more watchable for me. It’s like having to pick which poison when you pick a winner. I hate the Giants as a division rival, even more so because they are not as talented as the team we have. And the Patriots make every team in the NFL jealous because of the heights they have climbed to in this decade. But I think I’m going with the Patriots. I’ll pick any other team from the NFL to win over the Redskins, Giants, or Eagles. And yes, I am bitter.
January 22nd, 2008 at 8:31 pm
L.T. #56, you’re a trip, the racial slurs don’t bother me that way anyway I was just tryna keep the focus on football. God Bless Texas, I have to think hard about the talent on your team vs. ours before I annoint you as having the more talented team. Although our defense couldn’t stop the #3 rated offense on the league until the playoffs, it was never a blowout as your #3 offense never amassed more than a 2 TD point spread in any victory against us so its hard for me to assess your talent on that side of the ball. As for your defense which was top 5 in the league, our offense absolutely shredded them all 3 games similarly to how your offense shredded us. Honestly when I look at overall talent its a wash, but if we were to look at position by position, particularly at the skill positions the only advantage I could possibly give you is at the wide receiver position due to Owens, however that advantage even with Owens to me is marginal because aside from Owens you haven’t had another productive wideout all season that could match Amani’s production. Crayton is good but I wouldn’t say he’s better than Amani, at least not yet. When healthy Shockey and Whitten are a wash to me, both are All Pro TE’s. But I give Whitten a slight edge due to his production this season while remaining healthy. On the defensive side of the ball I think our line has a slight edge mainly due to Tuck and Kiwanuka who I think should go back to the line instead of being our starting strong side LB. I find it hard to believe u have 4 lineman that could match the pass rushing abilities of Osi, Strahan, Tuck and Kiwi. The LB’in corp on both teams to me is a wash as both LB’ing corps are solid but not overly dominant. Like I said these two teams to me talent wise match up very well which was obvious in the final scores of all 3 games. I think the difference in all 3 games had very little to do with talent and more so to do with the coaching staffs and adjustments after the half. In all 3 games the score was either close or tied at halftime, however in the first 2 Dallas made the better adjustments, and in the playoff game it was us who made the right adjustments. Spags had to really respect Romo’s ability to scramble out the pocket so he rushed multiple players leaving too much one on one coverage in the backfield while still sending help over to T.O. This allowed your offense to make plays whenever we didn’t get to Romo who is great outside the pocket. However in the playoff game we abandoned the idea of containing Romo and in the 2nd half we rushed the hell out of him dearing him to make a play whether he got out the pocket or not and he was not able to deliver. At the end of the day we’re talking about 2 teams who see each other frequently, who have a whole lot of tape on each other and have the advantage of being familar with each other’s personnel to make the necessary adjustments. I feel whoever wins these games has more to do with adjustments by the coaching staff than it has to do with who has more talent cause both teams match up well. Quite simply Dallas was outcoached in that playoff game, they went away for whatever reason from what allowed them to beat us those first 2 games, probably due to T.O.’s injury and inability to be the focal point of the offense. But injuries are apart of the game as our gameplan was adjusted with the loss of Shockey, fortunately for us we benefited from that adjustment as it allowed Eli to become the voice on this team and allowed him to spread the ball as opposed to forcing it into double coverage to satisfy big egos.
January 23rd, 2008 at 8:42 am
And sorry to disappoint you God Bless Texas but reports are coming in that the defensive coordinator of the Jags, not the Giants will be named the head coach in Atlanta. Much to your dismay Spags will be back another year to terrorize that Dallas offense. See you in September!
January 23rd, 2008 at 12:56 pm
Hey God bless Texas
Dont cry like T.O. but Spags is here to stay! But maybe this can cheer your day up. ” Let this historic superbowl run by the elite NFC confrence Champions NEW YORK FOOTBALL GIANTS be an inspiration to us all in our eveyday lifes.” This great story is for all mankind to enjoy. So GOD BLESS TEXAS I INVITE YOU TO SHARE IN OUR GLORY!!! PAY HOMAGE TO YOUR CONFRENCE CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!
January 24th, 2008 at 10:23 am
Man you guys were fortunate Tynes hit that field goal. He saved your season and your D.C.
January 24th, 2008 at 1:33 pm
Big Blue,
It’s time for me to share a little program with you…it’s called “Hooked on Phonics”…then we’ll watch a movie called “Akeelah and the Bee”. Take notes buddy.
January 24th, 2008 at 1:38 pm
As A Giants season ticket holder 30 years I can assure you most of us have a lot of class and I am happy to beat the Bucs, Cowboys, and Packers. I had no problem with Tonys vacation but it sure put ink in the newspapers. he should have thought about that twice. T.O. I’m sorry is an asshole period. Great player but an asshole. Jerry Jones looking on the sidelines like he just seen a ghost. priceless!. Parcells built this team for you. what was your head coach thinking after the first half not running the ball????
January 24th, 2008 at 2:17 pm
God Bless Texas you’re right, we’re fortunate Tynes hit hat FG, as we’re fortunate Burress caught 11 passes for 154 yds, as we’re fortunate Eli managed the game well, as we’re fortunate to have a solid defensive line, as we’re fortunate….need I go on? Look man, we are a resilient team, Tynes represents our gutsy attitude and approach to the game, the never say die attitude, the never quit attitude NY’ers in general live by. If you were from here you would understand that this Giants team is a mold of its fans and local inhabitants, we exude not only confidence, but we’re some tough muthafuckas, period. The saying if you can do it in NY you can do it anywhere is said for a reason. To make it here you have to be at the top of your game and we proved to do that consistently throughout the playoffs. We dont live off luck buddy, we do it off heart.
January 24th, 2008 at 2:22 pm
Steve, their head coach is not a championship type head coach, he’s never even won a playoff game. Although this year was Coughlin’s first playoff win as a Giant head coach, he has a SB ring under his belt as a coach under Parcels back in the early 90’s, and hes been to more than one Conference championship as a head coach for the Jags which means he’s won playoff games in the past. Wade, I mean “Fade”, has NEVER WON A PLAYOFF GAME. You can’t expect it to happen now, its not in his pedigree. He’s better serving underneath someone, as you can see San Diego had no problem getting to the championship game without him. Where as the coaches for the Giants have a lot to do with their success, Dallas only chance is to rely on the talents of their personnel on the field, not the lack of talent by their head coach.
January 24th, 2008 at 2:25 pm
By the way, has anyone seen Brian Smith? He’s been awol for some reason, seems like he has time to write disparaging, inaccurate article but lacks to guts to follow them up. What a poor excuse for a writer. God Bless Texas, please take that girlie man’s job.
January 24th, 2008 at 2:25 pm
As Andy says on “The Office”…You may have won the battle, but I will win the bigger battle.
January 24th, 2008 at 2:41 pm
I do agree that Brian Smith should be following up some of the stuff that he wrote, but that’s up to him. And I like Wade, but I would prefer him at the Def. Coord position than the Head ball Coach. I’d prefer Jason Garrett for that spot. We’ll see. I am glad that Parcells isn’t around anymore. I agree that he built a great team, but I think his coaching lacked guts. At least Wade will lay it out there from time to time.
January 24th, 2008 at 2:58 pm
NYC,
I also think its funny when you say your team is hard like NY because most of the Giants’ players (and the NFL for that matter) are from the South.
I think most of this team is out of the Dirty South mold.
January 24th, 2008 at 5:44 pm
God Bless Texas,
That’s true what you said about where our players come from, what you missed is the impact coming to NY has on anyone’s personality. Look at the many players who come from other areas of the world as average players then they put on that Giant uniform, or that Yankee uniform, they are instantly transformed into better than average players. When you come from a small market area, you dont have to feel the pressure of 8 million fans breathing down your neck, or a relentless media that sticks it to you even when you’re down. While most other areas of the country coddle their players, we tell it like it is. Players feed off that attitude here, they know the expectations to play in this market are higher which is why so many want to play here. It tests your fortitude as an individual, it tests your resolve as a human being playing against all odds here in NYC baby! Professional sports careers are made in NY, we are rich in history, the players understand and want to be apart of that. So it doesnt matter where you come from, all that matters is where you’re at.
January 24th, 2008 at 5:49 pm
And God Bless Texas, we do agree on one thing and that’s Fade is better off as a defensive coordinator, he’s waaaaay too player friendly. I like the idea of a parent being their child’s friend, in theory it sounds great but in reality children need direction, they need leadership and stability. It’s nice Fade caters to his player’s needs where guys like T.O. feel at ease, but sometimes it leads to the inmates running the asylum. In a perfect world your boy Garrett would be the head coach, they need some infusion of some young blood at the reins, but realistically its too difficult justifying firing or demoting a guy who got his team to 13-3. Sucks for you. But who knows, maybe Fade will change his approach next year, it won’t help you as we’ll be even better next year as FA’s will want to play here even more now. Two things work in our favor, we’re damn good and we play in the biggest sports market in the country, lots of chances to make a name for yourself here.
January 24th, 2008 at 6:10 pm
And God Bless Texas,
How quickly we forget how Parcels was the king of going on 4th down every where he’s gone, to say he doesn’t coach with guts is insane. I don’t watch the Cowboys much so maybe I’m missing something, but I think coaching has as much to do with the coach as it has to do with the players. Parcels set the groundwork for every team he’s been on, and the guy has 2 SB rings as proof. Again maybe his style was different in Dallas cause he lacked confidence in the players on the field, maybe they are the ones who needed to develop the guts you’re talking about and this year they seemed to find it for the most part. But in the big spots, I would question your players’ guts before I question a man with 2 SB rings blinging on his fingers.
January 24th, 2008 at 6:21 pm
The only thing Fade did better than Parcels as the Cowboys coach was win the NFC East and earn them a bye week. Aside from that changes at the helm didn’t result in drastic changes to the way your season ended in my opinion. Some would argue this year’s defeat your team suffered was even worst than last year, at least Parcels didnt hae Romo buckling under the pressure last year. A botched fg attempt was all that separated Parcels and the Cowboys from advancing in the playoffs last year whereas this year a whole lot more separated a similar feat. Its one thing to coach a team well in the regular season, but true leaders are born in the post season and Parcels resume in the post season speaks volumes. Funny he could advance the Giants, Pats, and Jets in the playoffs yet struggled with Dallas, yet you point the finger at him and not the players on the field.
January 25th, 2008 at 10:32 am
NYC,
Don’t give me this crap about average players coming to NY and then suddenly transforming into champions. Everyone knows that the Yankees buy the best talent in the majors, you don’t get a contract from them unless you are a stud. That’s why it is a let down when they don’t win championships…because they should every year with the payroll they have. And the Giants have equal opportunity to grab the best talent as any other franchise in the NFL.
Parcells coaching style is too old fashioned. He didn’t know how to get the ball down the field like Garrett does now. He didn’t know how to utilize the weapons on our office, and didn’t get enough pressure on the defensive side..two things that changed this season. That’s the only problem I had with Bill. I’d love to keep Parcells in Dallas at a similar position to what he holds now with the Dolphins, but not as a head coach. I don’t even mind Wade’s laid back style either. You are judging him on one game vs. 16. I know the stakes are raised in the playoffs, but the Giants were on a roll, we were hitting a low point in our season, and still that game was within reach at the end. The thing about Wade that frustrates me is the way he answers post-game questions in front of the media. His post-game news conference after the Giants game was pathetic. Take the loss like a man. It’s one thing for fans to talk about reasons why the Cowboys should have won, but when you are a coach in front of the world, you have to take the loss like a man. Sure you can point out positives for your team, you need to do that, but you can’t rattle off that the “better team lost”; it just makes you sound like a loser. And when you hear that at a conference, it makes you wonder what he says to the players. I want the Cowboys pissed off as hell, and fighting mad for next year, but you wonder if that will happen with Wade at the helm. I’m happy that he can be laid back, but he needs to have a chip on his shoulder too, and I just don’t know if Wade has that.
January 25th, 2008 at 2:15 pm
Jesus, this Smith guy seems a complete buffoon. First of all he trash talks ahead of the Cowboys versus Giants play-off fixture and looks a fool when the Cowboys are dumped out. Then he writes this piece about how he’s backing the Packers and then they get trashed by the Giants.
Smith, do me a favour and back the Giants in the superbowl.
January 26th, 2008 at 12:30 am
Packers fan for a day. Fudge packer for life. Brian you are a dumb shit. First off, why does everyone think that Jason Garrett is going to be the next head coach of the CowBitches. The offense of this team had no direction in every game after the Packers in November. The guy is a one hit wonder. Once the opposing DCs figured out his style from the previous game footage, he had nothing left. Look at the ‘Boys last five games, almost no offensive production whatsoever. After that kind of perfomance I would love it if he got the Cowboys head coaching job. I mean its not like the Cowboys “potent” offense was really injured in those games aside from TO in about two of them. And if you are going to use that as an excuse then, you are basically saying that TO is this team. The fact is that Homo is overrated and TO is a latent homosexual. “Thats my quarterback” lip quiver. Cowboys suck and Garrett won’t be the answer, even as bad as Wade is in games that matter.

I’m impressed. Brian Smith has made a smart move for once: he hasn’t written a thing for quite a while now. That means he has less crap to take from us Giants fans LOL

Tony Romo has AIDS!
AIDS AIDS AIDS!
AIDS AIDS AIDS AIDS AIDS AIDS!
Tony Romo has AIDS!
And so this is the end of our story
And all the Cowboys are dead from AIDS
It took from me my best friend
My only true pal
My only bright star
Well I’m gonna march on Dallas
Lead the fight and charge the brigades
There’s a hero inside of all of us
I’ll make them see The Cowboys have AIDS
