What does it all mean, anyway?

The Draft always comes to an end with the prodigious announcement of Mr. Irrelevant, the final selection.

The player gets the Lowsman Trophy, a parade, a banquet, some money, and all sorts of goodies on Mr. Irrelevant weekend. The only guy that wants to get drafted this late. Other than that, it’s better to be an undrafted free agent.
