Birds-Boys Prediction
Well I’ll get an early prediction in for this weeks game since I’ll be in Hershey all day tomorrow for the AA state title game to watch 5 star recruit Terrelle Pryor and then the AAAA state final between nationally ranked Pittsburgh Central Catholic and local squad Parkland.
Philadelphia @ Dallas
Prior to the year it looked like this game could in fact decide the NFC East crown. Fast forward to today and this is nothing more than just a rivalry game. Philadelphia could save some face and show resiliency by putting up a “W” in Big D. Philadelphia has had some success in recent years going to Dallas but this is a different ball club. Dallas has gone from middle of the road NFC squad to Super Bowl contender.
Donovan McNabb and Brian Westbrook will have to play amazing to give Philadelphia any shot. With Terrance Newman potentially out will McNabb find some open receivers down the field to throw the ball to? To have any chance Philly must establish a run game to set up the play-action which Roy Williams is a sucker to bite on. Philly must exploit any big play possibilities that come their way.
Terrell Owens certainly will want to put on a show as he did in Philadelphia. He lives for spotlight games against his former teams and this is no different. Philly played soft coverage on him last time and must make him earn a big day this time around.
I look for Philadelphia to play close for a half but ultimately fall short. Dallas has too much big-play ability and the Eagles have shown no ability to play a full 60 minutes this season.
Dallas 28 Philadelphia 17

To predict a W for the Eagles in this game would be illogical, Captain—– but I’m going with the upset prediction on a weird day: Eagles 24, Dallas 23.
