Patriots send 8 to the Pro Bowl
The New England Patriots are sending 8 members of their team to the Pro Bowl this season. This is the most since 1985, when they also sent 8 players to the Pro Bowl. Last year, Patriots fans complained about the snubbing of Tom Brady and Asante Samuel, but should have nothing to complain about this season. The only player I can really think of that deserves a trip to Hawaii is Wes Welker, but I’m sure he’ll have his chance before his time is up. The 8 going to Hawaii are: QB Tom Brady, WR Randy Moss, C Dan Koppen (personally I think this is long overdue), G Logan Mankins, LT Matt Light (I’m not so sure on this one. He’s solid but I don’t know about Pro Bowl quality), CB Asante Samuel, NT Vince Wilfork, and LB Mike Vrabel (again, long overdue).
What do you think Pats fans? Is there anybody from this team you would include or remove from the Pro Bowl roster?

i was totally psyched when i heard this. i’m especially excited about all the o-linemen on this list; for once i’m pleasantly surprised by pro bowl selections. wilfork is a great call as well, i’ve been loving him this season. asante is a makeup pick from last year–no way is he having the same year this time around.
i am a total sucker for matt light, so i’m not really an objective judge on that one.

hahahaha if there was an “All Sense-of-Humor” Team Light would be the first pick!

also, as dan koppen once put it, “we are all set at left tackle in the music league.”
