Training camp begins for Patriots
Today is the first day of the rest of the season!
As training camp begins for the 80-man squad for the New England Patriots there are many questions for those new to the team whether veteran like recently signed Anthony Clement or rookie like Matt Slater.
There are a few questions for those that have been with the team for a number of years like Chad Jackson and Pierre Woods still trying to find their way or will Ellis Hobbs be the true number one at corner and will Junior Seau be back?
There are questions on the coaching staff and how the game plan may change based on the failure to stop the Giants rushing attack during the Super Bowl and if there is a need for a blocking tight end.
Defense still have questions at inside linebacker and cornerback regarding depth and experience, but in addition the defensive line may be a target of future questions if Richard Seymour under performs after coming to camp healthy and on time in a few years.
Offensively, the questions arise on repeating success as last year, but even more so about any changes that are needed to continue to being successful. Will the Pats be as aggressive with their passing schemes or will Laurence Maroney and Sammy Morris turn into a dynamic tandem running the ball and the passing game complements their efforts?
Yes, there are many questions today. Training camp will help us answer some of these questions and raise a few more.
Here is wishing for a healthy and safe training camp that will allow the Patriots to be at the top of their game the whole season and WIN the Super Bowl to once again become World Champions!
IN BILL WE TRUST!!
