Jeff Otis cut, Shane Simmons signed: Oakland Raiders Quick Hits
Just a quick rundown of the news on the Oakland Raiders for today, 27 August 2008, thanks to the magic of RSS feeds.
- Camp arm Jeff Otis has been released to make way for linebacker Shane Simmons.
- Javon Walker is back in practice after missing a day due to personal reasons.
- Fred Wakefield is back to playing defensive line. Jason Jones jokes that he could be a wide receiver next.
- DeAngelo Hall has removed his cast, Tyvon Branch hasn't.
- Hiram Eugene, Rashad Baker, and Nnamdi Asomugha didn't practice. Any guesses on which one's standing was not hurt by this turn of events?

Personal Day every damn day?
Couldn't we get a better receiver for that type of money? Move Chaz forward!
