Redskins-Ravens scrimmage to air on cable
In a boon for stir-crazy football fans, cable sports network MASN will air the scrimmage between the Washington Redskins and the Baltimore Ravens on August 4 at Noon, according to a story in the Baltimore SUN. The scrimmage will take place in Baltimore at M&T Bank Stadium. Tickets are $10-$25 and available through the Ravens ticket office.Â
A glorified practice session on TV on a summer afternoon? Makes sense to me.
The Redskins open training camp on July 27. The first open practice is set for 5:00 p.m. Go to Redskins.com for the complete training camp schedule.

The last man drafted by the Redskins is the first to be signed to a contract. The team announced that they have come to an agreement with Michigan tight end Tyler Ecker, who was selected in the seventh round. For seventh rounders, a contract only assures the opportunity to compete, and be compensated if you are injured. Hog Heaven extends best wishes to Tyler.
