Happy Birthday, Sean Taylor

Sean’s birthday was April 1. A Redskins fan with the moniker SkinsBabe visited his grave site to honor his memory. She tells her story and posts a photo on ExtremeSkins that you can see by clicking here.

Happy birthday, Sean. We miss you, dawg.

Jim Zorn, Daniel Snyder and the Redskins staff attending the owners meeting drank a toast Tuesday evening to celebrate Taylor’s 25th birthday. Zorn also said that the team will keep Taylor’s locker at FedEx Field in place this season. The locker was sealed in plexiglas last November.

Taylor’s family and admirers at least have some degree of closure. That’s more comfort than for Darrent Williams’ loved ones. Williams was killed in a drive-by shooting New Years morning 2007, about 12 hours after playing his last game for the Denver Broncos.

No one has been charged for the crime. That, too, is tragic.
