Doughty, Davis miss Redskins mini-camp Sunday
Redskins Safety Reed Doughty missed the last day of mini-camp to be with his son who developed a high fever after his recent kidney transplant. Doughty’s son is 21 months old. His absence was excused by the team.
Rookie tight end Fred Davis missed Sunday’s mini-camp. News reports said that he simply overslept. That has happened to all of us, but you hope it’s not when you are still creating your identity with your new employer.
Read somewhere long ago that it takes seven new good impressions to offset one bad one. Not sure if the number is right, but after being on both sides of that equation, I know that it’s a valid rule of thumb.
I sure hope he can catch and block.
