Seahawks Week 15 preview

Does anyone remember the fact that the Seahawks were 4-4 one point in the season? Since then, they have won five games in a row.

Last weekend, the Seahawks (9-4) clinched the NFC West title, but now what? With three games left on the schedule, Seattle will be facing three teams who have been struggling to find any sort of rhythm this season, giving them a chance to finish with a 12-4 record and an eight-game winning streak.

However, the even better news is that the Seahawks have been playing so well lately that it doesn’t really matter who they play this weekend, or next weekend, or even the next. The Seahawks have been solid on both sides of the ball, and it doesn’t look like anyone will be slowing them down anytime soon.

In the last five games, the Seahawks have had 11 interceptions and 15 sacks. Led by Patrick Kearney, Lofa Tatupu, and Marcus Trufant, the Seahawks should really have no problem taking care of the Carolina Panthers this week.

Offensively, Matt Hasselbeck leadership in the pocket has been incredible. His playmaking hasn’t been too bad either. Hasselbeck has been able to find holes all over the field in the past couple games, and he’s been able to get many different receivers involved in the offense, which has also played a factor in the way defenses have been trying to adjust to the Seahawks high-powered pass-first offense.

The Seahawks should be able to easily handle their business at Bank of America field this Sunday. My prediction, Seahawks 36, Panthers 10.
