Browns Not Interested In Troy
The Boston Herald reports that the Browns don’t have any interest in free agent receiver Troy Brown. There have been rumors this week that the two sides were talking.
This makes perfect sense, as when you look up and down Cleveland’s roster, they don’t need him. At corner, maybe, but at thirty six, I don’t think Troy is up to that challenge anymore. They’re set at wide receiver, especially after signing Donte’ Stallworth, and have one of the best return men in the game in Josh Cribbs.
At that age, Brown is almost out of gas. Therefore, very few, if any, teams have interest in his services. The Patriots appear to be done with him, and the Lions and Jets haven’t been talking to him lately. Brown’s storied career may be coming to an end, unfortunately.
