Leinart The Party Animal!!!

According to the East Valley Tribune, Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt is upset with quarterback Matt Leinart after pictures(deadspin.com) of him partying with some girls in his home came up yesterday. The pictures showed Leinart holding a beer bong, drinking, and in a hot tub.

Whisenhunt is obviously upset because Leinart is trying to become the leader of Arizona, and when he’s on the internet partying like he has no job, his teammates lose respect for him. And its not like this is anything new, as Leinart has always been that sort of wild, crazy guy.

While this may not be a significant blow to Leinart’s chances of starting next season, if I’m Whisenhunt, I might want to start Kurt Warner, who did a solid job last season while Matt had a broken collarbone, instead. He’s a responsible, mature leader who takes football very seriously.

Leinart does too, but he shows a disregard for his team when he parties like this. Now, I’m not saying that he’s not allowed to do so. Its not against the law or any NFL rules. However, like I said before, the leader of a NFL football team shouldn’t be doing these things. Arizona has given him every chance to step up and take control. He has yet to take advantage.
