Week 4 NFL Re-Cap: Kiffin, Linehan and Millen Fired & More

Brett Favre led the stat parade in week 4 but the news of the week is on the unemployment line as the head coaches Lane Kiffin (Raiders) and Scott Linehan (Rams) were let go while the Lions finally came to the senses and removed Matt Millen from office.   We discuss each of the moves and how they will effect their teams fortunes during the rest of the season.

In Around the League we look at 4-0 Tennessee’s offense and how Marv Levy left his mark on the 4-0 Bills.   We also examine what other coaches could find themselves on the hot seat in future weeks.

Week 3 NFL Re-Cap: Surprising 3-0 Team Plus Kiffin Rumors, Bulger’s Benching and More

Week three did not have the drama of week 2 but the it was not too far behind.  Buffalo goes to 3-0 with another 4th quarter comeback, Jacksonville stuns Indy at the wire and the Giants and Bucs win in OT.  We start by discussing the surprising undefeated starts by Buffalo, Tennessee, Denver and Baltimore followed up by the struggles of playoff favorites Indy, Jax, Sea, Minn, SD and NO.   We also discuss the Lane Kiffin rumors, and the benching of Marc Bulger.  (Can the Rams really be putting Trent Green in behind that line?).

In Around the League we debate which winless teams will battle for the #1 draft pick, whether the Packers and Jets still feel good about the Brett Favre trade and how short a leash Derek Anderson is on.

As usual we wrap up the show with our picks and previews of week 4.
