2007 Tribute to Hockey Moms Breast Cancer Fundraiser

Thursday night against the New Jersey Devils Erik Cole, miked for that nights game, skated over to the referee and stated, “Keep an eye on the guys slashing my pretty pink stick. Its the only one I have.” It is great to have Erik Cole back on the ice now that he has returned from a hip pointer injury. Cole and the ‘Canes have joined other NHL teams have joined the fight against cancer with specially designed TPS pink hockey sticks used, autographed by the players and auctioned off to raise money for Breast Cancer Research. If you are interested in bidding on one of these really neat sticks go to Hockey Moms Breast Cancer Fund-raiser. Thanks Hockey Moms, NHL Players, TPS, and The Pretty Pink Sticks! Go ‘Canes! Go ‘Caniacs!

Thanks for letting me know about this site. I was familiar with fundthefight.com (Josh Harding of the Wild who has the pink ribbon on his mask) - but was unable to find the hockey moms website. Good job for getting the word out.
